Beef Steak With Mushrooms

What do you need?

For two persons:
  • 1 shallot
  • 200 g mushrooms
  • 1 knob of butter
  • 2 steaks of 180 g each, at room temperature
  • salt, pepper and herbs to taste

Preparation

  1. Chop the shallot and cut the mushrooms into pieces.
  2. Let the butter become light brown in a frying pan. Sear the steaks on both sides and fry them until they are done as you want them. The cooking time depends on the thickness of the meat.
  3. Shortly before the end of the baking time, add the mushrooms and shallot and fry briefly. Only after frying, sprinkle the meat with salt, pepper and herbs to taste.

Maintain the following number of minutes (approximately) for the desired doneness: Red: 3 minutes
Medium: 5 minutes
Well done: 8-10 minutes
