Sustainability

Back

Killerbody is a Dutch (sports) nutrition brand with protein-rich, low-sugar products that also taste great (if we do say so ourselves). Killerbody is not only accessible to athletes, but to everyone. We are aware that our business operations have an impact on the environment. That is why we at Killerbody are continuously working on making our supply chain more sustainable.

Vegetable products

Traditionally, protein-rich foods are often of animal origin. Think of meat, fish or dairy. Ready-made products in the supermarket, such as protein powders or protein bars, are therefore often based on milk proteins. Contemporary scientific research shows that vegetable protein sources have many benefits. This way it is not only better for people and animals, but also for the environment.

Killerbody has therefore made it its mission to have a completely plant-based product range by 2027. Did you know that we are already well on our way? All Meal Shakes and Slimming Powders are 100% plant-based and suitable for vegans.

Recyclable packaging

In addition to making our production more sustainable, Killerbody is also actively working on making its packaging material more sustainable. Where our first meal replacements and fat burners were sold in plastic pots, we made the switch to recyclable bags in 2023. These recyclable bags are our first step towards a sustainable logistics chain in which we minimize the impact on the environment.

Plantation in the rainforest

To compensate for the use of packaging material, such as the cardboard box in which we send your package, Killerbody is an EarthToday ambassador. Each month Killerbody buys 100 square meters of land in a nature reserve to protect the forest, flora, animals and water resources.
