Spinach salad with avocado and smoked salmon

A true classic! For extra flavor, add some capers, dill, or cherry tomatoes to the salad.

What do you need?

For one person:

  • 75 g fresh spinach
  • 150 g smoked salmon
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/4 red onion
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. Rinse the spinach thoroughly under cold water and let it drain. Pat dry with paper towels if necessary.
  2. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit and cut into cubes or thin slices.
  3. Peel the red onion and cut it into thin rings or half rings.
  4. Cut the smoked salmon into thin slices or pieces.
  5. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil and lemon juice. Season the dressing with salt and pepper.
  6. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently until the ingredients are well coated with the dressing.
