Perfect for colder days or when you're craving comfort food. Customize it to your liking by choosing your favorite cheese or cheeses.
What do you need?
For one person:
- 200 g chicken fillet
- 1 tsp (Celtic) salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 100 g broccoli
- 100 g grated cheese (e.g. cheddar or another strong cheese)
- 60 ml cream
Preparation
- Preheat the grill to medium heat.
- Sprinkle the chicken breasts on both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika. If desired, you can lightly brush the chicken breasts with a little olive oil before grilling.
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and place a steamer basket inside. Add the broccoli to the steamer basket, cover, and steam for about 5-7 minutes, or until bright green and crisp-tender.
- Heat the cream in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the grated cheese and stir constantly until the cheese is completely melted and you have a smooth sauce.
- Serve the chicken and broccoli on a plate. Pour the cheese sauce over the broccoli and, if desired, over the chicken.
