Grilled chicken with broccoli

Perfect for colder days or when you're craving comfort food. Customize it to your liking by choosing your favorite cheese or cheeses.

What do you need?

For one person:

  • 200 g chicken fillet
  • 1 tsp (Celtic) salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 100 g broccoli
  • 100 g grated cheese (e.g. cheddar or another strong cheese)
  • 60 ml cream

Preparation

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. Sprinkle the chicken breasts on both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika. If desired, you can lightly brush the chicken breasts with a little olive oil before grilling.
  3. Bring a pot of water to a boil and place a steamer basket inside. Add the broccoli to the steamer basket, cover, and steam for about 5-7 minutes, or until bright green and crisp-tender.
  4. Heat the cream in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the grated cheese and stir constantly until the cheese is completely melted and you have a smooth sauce.
  5. Serve the chicken and broccoli on a plate. Pour the cheese sauce over the broccoli and, if desired, over the chicken.
