Salad boats with minced chicken

What do you need?

For two persons:

  • 150 g minced chicken
  • ½ red chili pepper
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • ½ red onion
  • ½ spring onion
  • salt, pepper and herbs to taste
  • 1 tsp piri-piri herbs
  • juice of ½ lime
  • 4 lettuce leaves


  1. Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat and brown the minced chicken.
  2. Remove the seeds from the chili pepper and finely chop the flesh (watch your eyes!). Finely chop the garlic, red onion and spring onion. Add chili pepper, garlic, onion and spring onion to the minced meat. Fry briefly, season with salt, pepper and herbs and then add the lime juice.
  3. Fill the lettuce leaves with the minced meat mixture.
