Chicken in a crispy oatmeal coating

What do you need?

For two persons:

  • 300 g chicken fillet
  • 60 g oatmeal
  • herbs of your choice
  • 2 egg whites
  • optional: chili sauce
  • also needed: 4 skewers


  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Place a sheet of baking paper on a baking tray.
  3. Cut the chicken fillet into bite-sized pieces. Take two deep plates and put the oatmeal with the herbs in one. Beat the egg white in the other plate.
  4. Dip the chicken pieces first into the egg white mixture and then into the oatmeal mixture.
  5. Thread the pieces onto four skewers and place them on the baking paper on the baking tray. Bake the skewers in the hot oven for 25 minutes.
Optional: Serve with some chili sauce if desired.
