Thin crepes with a fruity twist thanks to the orange sauce. Delicious as a snack, but also great for breakfast.
What do you need?
For two persons:
Crêpes:
- 50 g spelled flour
- grated peel of 1 organic orange
- pinch of salt
- 1 egg
- 75 ml almond milk
- 1 knob of butter
Orange sauce:
- 1 knob of butter
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 200 ml fresh orange juice
Topping:
- 1 orange, peeled and cut into segments
Preparation
- Mix all ingredients for the crêpes in a bowl, except the butter, into a smooth batter.

Heat the butter in a frying pan and fry thin crêpes of the batter.

For the orange sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan and mix in the honey. Let the honey mixture turn a nice light brown. Add the vanilla and fresh orange juice and stir the sauce well. Let the sauce reduce briefly.

Top the crêpes with orange segments and pour the orange sauce over them.
