What you'll need
For two people:

1 knob of butter

4 eggs

50 g cooked ham

2 slices of cheese, 25 g each

4 slices of sourdough bread

Salt, pepper, and spices to taste
Preparation

Heat the butter in a frying pan over medium heat.

Gently crack the eggs on the edge of the pan and let the yolks and whites slide into the frying pan. Try to keep the yolks intact. Reduce the heat and let the whites slowly set.

Top the bread slices with ham or roast beef and cheese. Slide the fried eggs onto the bread slices using a spatula. Season with pepper, salt, and/or spices.

Garnish with some pickles, tomato, or lettuce, as desired.
