Oatmeal Porridge with Apple and Cinnamon

This delightful oatmeal porridge is perfect for a cold winter morning. The scent of apple and cinnamon instantly warms you up from the inside. It smells wonderful and tastes even better.

What you'll need

For two people:

  • 400 ml almond milk or other plant-based milk of your choice

  • 60 g oats
  • 1 apple
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 30 g raisins

Preparation

  1. In a saucepan over medium-high heat, bring the milk to a boil and gradually stir in the oats.

  2. Reduce the heat and let it simmer until you achieve a thick consistency. Stir regularly to prevent sticking. Add extra milk if the porridge becomes too thick.

  3. Let the porridge sit off the heat for a while.

  4. Cut the apple into pieces and add them along with the cinnamon and raisins.
