Rice cakes with omelette

These rice cakes topped with an omelette are the perfect way to start your day. Light and full of flavor! Enjoy your day.

What you'll need

For two persons:
  • 1 whole egg and 2 egg whites

  • 1 knob of butter

  • 2 rice cakes

  • 5-6 cherry tomatoes, sliced

  • ¼ cucumber, sliced

  • Salad leaves of your choice

  • Pepper, salt, and seasoning to taste


  1. Crack the egg into a bowl and whisk it together with the egg whites until fluffy.

  2. Heat a frying pan with the knob of butter. Set the heat to low and pour the egg mixture into the pan. Cook the omelette for a few minutes until done.

  3. Top the rice cakes with the omelette, tomato slices, cucumber, and salad leaves. Sprinkle with pepper, salt, and seasoning to taste.
