Tacos with minced meat

Delicious and easy, perfectly balanced. These ground beef tacos are a family favorite, while also providing plenty of protein.

What do you need?

For two persons:

  • 4 taco shells
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 bell pepper
  • oil
  • 200 g lean ground beef or 200 g vegetable ground beef
  • 75 g corn kernels
  • 3 tbsp tomato puree
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika powder
  • 1 tsp garlic pepper
  • 40 g grated cheese

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
  2. Prepare the taco shells according to the directions on the package.
  3. Finely chop the onion and garlic and cut the pepper into pieces.
  4. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the minced meat until done.
  5. Now add the onion, pepper, garlic and corn and fry for about 5 minutes.
  6. Add the tomato puree and herbs and mix everything well.
  7. Place the tacos upright in an oven dish and fill them with the ground meat mixture.
  8. Sprinkle the grated cheese over the filled taco shells and place them in the preheated oven for about another 10 minutes.
