Bruine bonen cake met chocolade

Brown bean cake with chocolate

Do you prefer chocolate? Then this variation on the white bean cake made with brown beans and chocolate is the right choice for you. Just like the other variant, low in calories, high in proteins and above all very tasty. Simple and quick to make so you can enjoy.

What do you need?

For one cake tin (approx. 10 slices):

  • 250 g brown beans (can)

  • 2 eggs

  • 20g Killerbody Protein Shake

  • 20 g dates

  • 1 banana

  • 1 tbsp cocoa

  • 1 tsp gingerbread spices

  • also needed: blender or food processor and silicone cake mold

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.

  2. Blend all ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth.

  3. Spoon the dough into a silicone cake mold and bake for 40 minutes. Let it cool on a rack and then turn the cake out of the mold and onto a flat dish.

Tip: If you prefer a slightly slimmer version, I recommend the white bean cake with vanilla.

Note: If you use a silicone baking mold, you do not need to grease the mold. This again saves calories; it also makes it easier to get your cake out of the mould.
